The Health Dare is a WELNESS CHALLENGE, sponsored by Crew Fitness, for anyone looking to improve the 5 factors of health: nutrition, fitness, sleep, mindset, and social connection.

In Mobile, Alabama, the Health Dare runs from March 6 - April 8.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We’ll start with our specialty: Fitness. Just show up. We DARE you to get 21 workouts over 5 weeks. Our classes will be programmed so that people of all ages and abilities can complete them. At Crew Fitness, YOU control the intensity of the workout. Your instructor acts as a guide, helping you to personalize the workout to make it right for you.

Each day, we’ll send out the daily Double Dare: a small tweak to your day that will lead to healthier habits. And then we’ll build from there. For example: in the first week, we might challenge you to eat 2 servings of vegetables each day. And by the end of the challenge, we’ll have that up to 4-6!

We’ll start easy and build a firm foundation for healthier eating, moving, thinking and connecting!

how much does it cost?

Registration for the dare is $40. After that, it’s free to members! If you are not a member at Crew, you can get unlimited classes during the Dare for just $25/week!

I haven’t worked out in years. i couldn’t possibly do this, right?

WRONG. Each year, many people JUMPSTART their fitness journeys with the Health Dare. It’s truly THE PERFECT way to dive in, FOCUS, and see some real results.

During the Health Dare, our classes are programmed specifically for people starting at baseline and looking to improve their fitness. Our instructors will help you choose weights you’re comfortable with and movements that you CAN DO. YOU CAN DO THIS.

that seems like a lot of working out. what if i can’t keep up?

It IS a lot of working out, but we’re going to make it RIGHT for YOU! And new this year, we’re teaming up with Village Yoga and Kindred Yoga to offer a free yoga class at Crew during the first week of the Dare, and then discounted classes at their studios during the challenge. And these yoga sessions WILL count toward your goal of 21 workouts and they’ll leave you feeling refreshed and restored!

what kind of people go to crew?

The people at Crew Fitness are HAPPY, and when we’re not, we lift each other up. We’re FUN; working out at Crew is one of the best ours of our day. The people at Crew are NICE. We love to see new faces at the gym and we get excited to watch each other grow in fitness, health and LIFE. We CARE. We care deeply about each other, our friends, our family, our community, our nation and our world. We find JOY in seeing each other succeed, not just in fitness but also in relationships, in business, in LIFE.

We have members in their teens and members in their 70s! We have people that look like fitness models and people working to lose 100 pounds. There are runners, body builders, tennis players, dog walkers and people that sit at a desk for a grueling 10 hours/day. You’ll meet moms and dads, nurses, doctors, attorneys, teachers, business owners, retail workers, accountants and janitors.. people that work in the service industry, people that serve special needs children, firefighters, and security guards. There is no cookie-cutter Crew member and that’s what makes it so special.
