Privacy Policy — The Self-Care Dare

This Privacy Policy describes how Crew Fitness, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use The Self-Care Dare mobile app (the "App").

By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly: your name, email address, gender (used to personalize dare recommendations), your chosen program start date, journal entries, social posts, profile photo, and book redemption code.

Information we collect automatically: dare completions and scores, team membership, and device information for crash reporting.

Information we do NOT collect: We do not collect your location. We do not access your contacts, camera roll, or calendar. We do not sell your data to advertisers. The App does not display ads. We do not use your journal entries to train AI models.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate the App, provide the AI coaching feature (via Anthropic's Claude API — entries are not retained by the AI provider), enable team features, process subscriptions through Apple, communicate about account changes, and improve the App using aggregate, anonymized data.

3. Sharing with Other Users

When you join a team, your name, photo, points, streak, and badges are visible to teammates. Journal entries are private by default — only shared if you toggle "share with team." There is no public feed.

4. Third-Party Services

Supabase (database/auth), Anthropic (AI coaching), Apple (in-app purchases), and RevenueCat (subscription management). We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account, which permanently removes all your data.

6. Your Rights

You can access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. To exercise any right, email us at carrieleighcox@gmail.com.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Users

The App is operated from the United States. By using the App, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in the U.S.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy and will notify you in the App of material changes.
